Creed (Unfinished Hero, #2)

BOOK:Creed (Unfinished Hero #2)by Kristen Ashley

Way too young, eleven year old Tucker Creed and his six year old neighbor, Sylvie Bissenette, find they have something awful in common. Creed then decides he’s going to do everything in his limited power to shield his Sylvie from her ordeal. So he does and Creed and Sylvie form a bond that grows and blossoms with their ages.

They plot to leave their lives behind, the town they live in that will hold them down and the histories they share that, unless they break free, will bury them. Sylvie goes to their special place, Creed never shows and she doesn’t see him again until it’s too late.

With Creed gone, Sylvie is forced to endure a nightmare and do the unspeakable to end it. To deal, she develops a hard shell with sharp edges that very few can break through. So when Creed again finds his Sylvie, he discovers the girl he loved is locked away and he has to find his way back into her heart without getting shredded in the process.

“Some people get to live life. Some people survive it. We’re survivors. We can carve out our piece of happy, and, I swear to God, baby, right now, you got my vow, for you and for me, the rest of our lives, I’ll bust my ass to carve our piece of happy.

Sylvie and Creed are two kids that due to some dire circumstances on both of them they find themselves being friends and companions.

Sylvie is Just 6 years old  escaping an abusive father in his horrible a unloving home , and then she  meets Tucker  Creed, a smart kid , from a broken home as well, they develop this very strong bond of friendship , companionship and romantic love all in the small town pier that it’s their refuge.

After many years , they decide that they want to be together and after Sylvie 18 birthday they will scape …. but nothing goes as is supposed to and Carter leaves town , leaving a broken-hearted Sylvie.

16 Years later they happen to meet again and all hell breaks loose for Sylvie, because she realizes that as much as she hates him…. she actually Loves him …

I stopped opposite the counter and looked back up at him. “Have I told you you’re an asshole today?”
“You just got up, so, no.”
“You’re an asshole.”
He grinned again.”

I don’t want to ruin the rest of the story by telling you the plot, but it a good one.

Im actually pretty torn about this book , the thing is I really like the story , especially te parts when they where young , but I must say that the reason why I didn’t give a 4 o maybe a 4 1/2 is because there where some bits that where a little boring to me ( like the visit to Phoenix) and I did something that I try super hard not to do, I skimmed some paragraphs, but just a little I swear!!

Well don’t let this affect your image of the book , because it was very good , and the sex scenes where very steamy .

Creed was a dream come true , so great!! love Him,  he was so much in love of his Sylvie  one could feel it in his word , he worshiped her and he was so desperately trying to get back what was stole from them .

“Born to love you, baby,” he repeated. “Die lovin’ you, my Sylvie.”

“You need me. You won’t stay away and you won’t let me go because, baby, you can’t breathe without me.”

And Sylvie DAYUM !!! she  was one  tough Bitch…  and loves Creed just as fiercely

“You love me?” he asked quietly. I dipped my face close and answered quietly, “On a cold night, a long time ago, you put your hands almost exactly where they are right now and, I might have been six years old, but I fell hard. So, yeah. For over twenty-seven years, every day, every minute, every second, I’ve loved you, Tucker Creed.”

So Yeah A great read from a very good author , steam factor was good i just maybe was expecting it to be GREAT !! but don’t get me wrong , it’s a good one…
