MY THOUGHTS ABOUT IT

This review will be short and sweet, not because I didn’t like it, on the contraire I totally love this book , I just feel that you have ton read it to understand how good it is

This book was just So much better than I thought I would be!

I’ve loved everything Penelope Douglas writes , but I was a little scared that this one was not going to be as good as the last one (rival) , (I was so in love with Madoc , still an actually)  , but well ….  I’m happy to say that I was wrong and this book was so much better than what I hope for… I loved Juliette/KC character, she was so much more than we saw on the other books, I’m so glad that KC/Juliette was redeemed in this one, because I totally hated her on Bully and Until you!! I mean I thought she was the worst friend ever, but I also thought that there should be more to her than that. So thank you Penelope Douglass for giving us a very complex and flawed character that overcomes so much trough the book (the journals where brutal!).

On the other hand Jax I just adore and now I’m totally in love with him,. He has suffered so much but he’s so strong and HOT!! I didn’t have any classmates that hot when i was in school!!! Damn it!!!

“I love it when you get mouthy,” he whispered down on me. “It makes me want to shut you up.”

“This kid grew up,” he threatened in a deep voice, grinding his hard-on between my legs. “And you’re gonna fuckin’ find out.” Oh. My. God.”

I’m amazed at how this books are each one toping the last one in their hotness, this one was so full of steam scenes, it was very hot.

“Bite me, hit me, scream at me. I don’t care. I want to feel it. Fucking hurt me, K.C. Let me see you.”

“I closed my burning eyes, and buried my lips in her hair. “I want to terrorize you,” I confessed. “I want to cut you without drawing blood. I want to break you.” I pulled her into me. “And then I want to fuck you.”

The only thing that kind of bothered me was that the ending felt kind of rushed, I wanted a bit more of a conclusion.

“Only. Ever. You. Jaxon Trent.”

I’m a little scared of the next book, even as much as i like a conclusion on Jared’s and Tate’s story, I really don’t want to see them apart.

So please don’t make us suffer like that, Penelope please!! And maybe give us a few novellas about Madoc and Jax ….

MY THOUGHTS ABOUT IT 

Well , this is a series of 4 book that caught my eye a long time ago… I was not sure what it was about , but since I’ve read the Vain series and it was kind of good , I thought what the hell!! let’s give it  a try…

I have to say that it was actually kind of good, I mean it was not GREAT !! but it was fun and easy to read , wich is a plus …

The story is about this Jewelry designer named Ivy and this business man called Jax, they meet at an art gallery and instantly feell an intense  attraction , but as Ivy is about to find out , it’s not by chance that they meet , because Jax has been looking  her up for a long time , and it’s not clear if his intentions are as good as he says they are.

Ivy is just coming out from a bad break up , she was about to get married , but his soon to be husband was on the cheating side of the scale…

Soooooo …. She is attracted to Jax but very fearful about starting something , But as she can resist him she fall under his spell…

They get all HOT AND HEAVY  and I mean very Hot !!! ( it was kind of the most redeeming thing from the story,  that and his alpha mens persona that I kind of totally dig about male characters).

Some of the Character where very annoying , especially Ivy’s friend , she was kind of an asshole… and dont’ get me started on her ex…

At times even Ivy was kind of annoying , but it got better after a while.

Well I don’t want to explain the plot because it get very twisty, but I think it was fun and a very entertaining  read, like I said before I didn’t love it but I like it enough that I will read the next series form Deborah Blandon.
